An error occurred while saving the comment kratos commentedbryceman, OK I agree with you but grouping of duplicated trailers cannot be automated with the trailer length as the duplicate factor only, as another trailer might happen to have the same length as it. Another issue here is that videos tend to increase/decrease some seconds, or milliseconds depending on the provider. The grouping of duplicate trailers need to depend on certain factors not only one.

An error occurred while saving the comment kratos commentedI think duplicate trailers may have something in common. Such as maybe the size, or else the underlying code of the trailer, maybe some code header (or footer), indicating the trailer is duplicate.

Maybe identifying users from some unique factor like a fixed IP has, you can determine the computer that is viewing your website and use a back end database with this unique identifier and its associated list of films watched.
